An Emergency DID entry will persist in the Direct Inward Dialing Service form and MiVoice Business database even after the PSAP emergency call is returned. The presence of Emergency DID entries affect the operation of Standard DID entries that have the same DID number because the system gives precedence to an Emergency DID entry when the Called Party Number (CdPN) of an incoming PSAP callback matches both a Standard DID entry and an Emergency DID entry (unless the Emergency DID entry has both a blank Destination Number and a blank PNI); thus ignoring Standard DID entries.
You must consult your company’s Safety or Emergency department to determine when it is safe to remove Emergency DID entries from the MiVoice Business database.
Using maintenance commands, you can perform the following operations on Emergency DID entries:
CRS
SHOW EMERGENCY_DID
Show all Emergency DID entries.
CRS
QUERY EMERGENCY_DID <DIGISTRING>
Search all Emergency DID entries for a particular string of digits.
CRS
PURGE EMERGENCY_DID
Delete all Emergency DID entries.
